1ST – 3RD JULY 2022
With a backdrop of picturesque pines and heathland, The Suffolk Trail Festival (TrailFest) is a unique opportunity to enjoy a weekend of trail running adventures in the heart of the forest.
Our 24 hour race can be entered solo, as pairs or as a team of up to 8 runners and the aim is to complete as many laps of our 5 mile course as possible in the 12 or 24 hour time limit. This is a test of endurance, speed, fitness, mental toughness and teamwork!
Camping, refreshments, children’s activities and live music will be on hand to add a fun & friendly festival vibe to the weekend making this an ideal event to bring your family / supporters along to.

17:00 – 21:00: Registration for all races open at Race HQ

21:00: Final Friday arrivals
22:30 – 06:30: Quiet time on the campsite
SATURDAY JULY 2nd 2022
08:00 – 09:45: Registration opens
> 9:45am for 3k and 10k races
> 11am for 24 hour race
> 1pm for 6 hour race
> 7pm 12 hour race
10:00 – 10k race start
10:15 – 3k race start
10:45: 3k & 10k Presentation for Top 3 Male & Female Runners
12:00 – 24 hour race starts
14:00 – 6 hour race starts
19:59 Final 6 hour laps may begin
20:00: 12 hour race start. Headlamps or hand torches to be taken on all laps started from this point
SUNDAY JULY 3rd 2022
07:59: Final 12 hour laps may begin
08:00: 12 hour race finishes. Laps in progress must be completed by 09:00 to count towards your score
10:30 – 22:30 Live Music
11:59: Final 24 hour laps may begin
12:00: 24 hour race finishes. Laps in progress must be completed by 13:00 to count towards your score
12:30-13:30: Medal & Buckle Presentation

Thetford Forest is located on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk in the heart of Breckland in East Anglia. Major roads leading to Thetford Forest are the M11 from London, the A11 from Norwich or Newmarket and the A14 from Cambridge or Ipswich.
